Air filter dimensions

I need a favor. Can anyone with a K&N or BMC or any kind of after market air filter measure the dimensions of it for me. Not the mounting plate, just the filter itself.

Right now I have a foam filter I made myself from the stock, but if the after market ones have a bigger hole, I might try that.

Got a BMC Race here. Filter element exposed to air flow measures 5 and 5/8 by 6 and 3/8 inches.

Thanks guys, that helps. Do the BMC's have metal spark arrestors on the bottom side to protect the filter from backfire?

The BMC Race doesn't.
