adjusting rear brake pedal
can I adjust it so it's any lower? I couldn't see any way that I could... And I checked the maintenance manual too already...
|
...?
There's not a nut that you adjust near the spring? |
there is but it didn't really move any... I loosened it and couldn't get the pedal to go down further... You just loosen that and then the bracket should move up against it right? maybe mine is just a little rusted... Ill take some pics if I can't get it to move again
|
I tried again and can't get it to move up or down... here's a pic of from what I can tell is the only thing to move it.

That nut is only the lock nut.
Push the rubber boot up to reveal the adjusting nut. I was never able to get a lot of pedal adjustment out of it....some but not a lot You will have to readjust your brake light switch for the new pedal position |
oh... guess I'll have to adjust it in the morning...
|
eh I just did it. what a pain in the ass thing to do. wow... I wouldn't have thought that a thing so simple in theory would be such a pain in the ass to do
|
My Gilles rearsets don't have that problem... :D
