98 VTR1000 Wheel assembly Collar HELP

98 VTR1000 Wheel assembly Collar HELP

Both wheels assembled, front and rear. Ready to install, and the onnly sandwhich bag I forgot to label was the collars. Theres 4. The blow up diagram for oem parts doesnt illustrate well enough to find out which goes where except one, the left rear which has a lip on it. One of the remainding three is bigger than the other two, its just that every ilustration of haynes manual dont help. Im so close togetting her back to ride, please help out!!!

Actually they are totally specific to where they go. The rear ones you already figured out, and the fronts are obvious in the sense that put in wrong and the wheel is visibly out of center and the brake calipers wont go on. (and the wheel wont spin if you force them on)

BTW they are usually referred to as spacers.

So the rear wheel houses the one spacer with the lip and larger of the remaining three?

If thats correct, I should be able to figure out the other two based on what you mentioned. Wasnt sure if the front wheel having two different sizes would be that obvious where they go

Yeah, like I said, if installed wrong the brakes wont line up. Just look closely as you install it.
