450 degree confirmation on CCT install

I'm startin this thread to help out everyone who is about to do their CCT's. I can confirm (with pics) that after removing the rear valve cover to check cam position, hand cranking 450 degrees counterclockwise (1 1/4 turn) will allow you to change the front without removing the cover (which is a total pita).

As you can see, both lobes are off the valves.

I just finished installing Truckinduc's tensioners. Everthing was pretty straight forward. I searched and couldn't find any posts where someone confirmed the 450, only quoting the manual. So for piece of mind, I went ahead and removed the front cover to make sure. Hope I can help someones job go a little faster than mine.

Here's a couple more shots:

Great pics, me and lazn did both ours at the same time about 6 months ago. 450 worked great. We have not had a chance to put the pics up yet. I think we took almost 50 pics of the steps required. That looks to be a custom by Truckinduc.

Here's a shot of a very messy work space:

I wish I would have had pair block-offs to get rid of all that plumbing. What a mess!
