2001 VTR starting problems

hey guys im new to the site and have been reading some post but still no help. So my story is i bought a one off utv with a 01 rc51 motor in it and im trying to get it started but im having problems. I have the factory wire harness and guage cluster and hooked everything up using a wire diagram i found online. I bypassed the ignition switch with a toggle switch and got the guage cluster to work and its not throwing any errors. i have the factory start and kill switch hooked up and when i try and start it i hear a clicking noise from the starter relay. this is the first time im starting the motor. i checked the battery load tester and the battery is good. Im running a honda oddesey gel battery. NOT SURE WHERE TO START PLEASE HELP

THANKS

How about posting on an RC51 forum. There is nothing in common between the two bikes other than a few bolts.
