Well I thought at least someone had an opinion. Like I said I have searched

GSXR-600 Forks.

Like from this post.
https://www.superhawkforum.com/forum...p-guide-23751/

" Mine are from a 2004 GSXR-600. At this point I do not know which other years are the same, but with some questions on other sites, I can find out.

I used the entire front end. Triples, forks, calipers, wheel and rotors.

The upper steering stem bearing was a custom bearing ordered from ALLBALLSRACING.com The lower steering stem bearing was stock SH. This is the only "custom piece needed to make the swap work.

At the time, I could not find clip-ons that I wanted to use, so I went with a Superbike bar conversion. Since then, it appears that 929/954 clip-ons will work, due to the flat upper triple tree, more to follow on this. Still obtaining a pair.

The superbike bars necessitated longer brake lines. I used Spiegler braided stainless steel lines.

I didn't have the key to the Suzuki ignition, so I removed it, and relocated the Honda ignition.

To sum it up, this was a fairly straight forward swap. Multiple have ridden the bike and like it's handling. The front end dimension are nearly identical to the SH. Braking is improved due to the Radial Master Cylinder and Radial Calipers. Suspension is now tunable (maybe someday I'll know how to do it well)

Hope this helps Tweety. "

So what I was wondering what a good price is on this frontend and if anyone else has tried it. If so what do you think?

Thanks
Stumpy

I'm confused. You're talking about GSXR600 forks, but that eBay listing is for 750 forks.

thats true gsxr from 2001 to 2005 are all the same 600 to 1000, also 06 to 09 will fit only not plug and play, i would get 04 or 05 1000 forks, they have radial brakes but not as expensive as the 07 and newer

false: early 600s used non-USD forks..... Not sure about the 750s and 1000s of this period, but later 600s and 750s (beginning in 06 anyhow) used Showas whereas the 1000s used KYBs.....

I recall Jamie expressing a preference for Showas, largely due to the valving set-up IIRC. However, if you plan to re-valve them, that would become a moot point....
