...after seeing that commercial a few dozen times, and having my jaw drop and heart race each time, I Googled around a bit.

i do believe that those are not all honda's...

but the sv is ok due to the fact that honda has no competition for it....

You talking about my herd or the Honda Collection? It's not all Honda either...

I was talking about your herd.....
then i went to the honda collection and i see that they are not all honda's either....

i didn't realize that "the collection" was a link...

anyway....

I too have been pondering an sv for the track, i just with honda would make a 650 twin.

I could get a hawk gt cheap but i want to be competitive anf that bike just dosen't have the juice.

Hard to beat an SV for the track. Enough HP to be fun, and it'll teach you corner speed. 600s and litre bikes tend to be "point and squirt". Besides, it's loads of fun passing "faster" bikes in the corners...

Mine's got a GSXR front end, which is a huge improvment over stock, really changes the character of the motorcycle and makes it a more accurate, planted weapon.

Sadly, mine will be for sale by day's end. With two toddlers I've decided that the track is just a bit selfish for a while, so no sense keeping the bike around. sniff
