I got my Oxtars in today. These things are awsome. My other boots are Alpinestars Effex sport touring boots. These Oxtars are super light weigth, feel great on my feet, and much more compliant then the A*'s. I think the A*'s make up for a lack of ankle support with rigidity everywhere, while Oxtar has great ankle support so the rest of the boot is a little more pliable. There is a hugh amount of calf adjustment, and velcro to secure the boot well. These are constructed extremely well, and look cool too (black/silver).
Even if you don't need or want another pair of boots, DO NOT pass up this deal!

I bought the Super Bitchin white ones and I love them! They aren't closeout, but they are supposed to be very similar to the ones that are on closeout. I highly recommend Oxtar products as I have been very happy with the stuff I have bought.
