When did motorcycles get so ugly?
Seriously. When did so many motorcycles get SO UGLY? Yes the performance and the technology is fantastic but why do they all look like retarded special needs Transformers?

Yeah it is pretty fugly (looks like Bumblebee's face from Transformers) but I'll tell you when I sold my last Superhawk the guy showed up on one of those and the sound alone had me saying doing my best Gary Oldman/Commissioner Gordon "I have to get me one of those" lol
Draw a circle. At opposite sides write opposite values. Move from side to side every 10 years or so and you get what they call trends. For the automotive industry those sides are "pointy" and "rounded". Now we're in the "pointy" part of the circle.
IMO proportion wise the newer models are much more balanced, which gives them a big visual advantage. However in most cases that advantage gets undone by the excessive edges and creases and colors, as if they had a design task list "things that make bikes look cool" written by 13y olds and ended up doing the sci-fi meets ricer theme.
Maybe in the future something like an H2R will be the baseline for good looks and some 2030 model be called fugly.
But more likely, in the future they will kill motorcycling altogether, by shoving electric and self-driving cars up our ***** and keeping all of us under house arrest for imaginary reasons such as "pandemics" of viruses that for 9/10 people don't even cause any symptoms.
