Rain

Never seems to fail sunny all week when I am working and can't go out and ride. Then weekend comes and it freaking rains I think we have had enough rain for this year.

Had just about enough time to put 50 miles on each of the bikes this weekend. Today it snowed.

think the point that pissed me off the most is yesterday and today were great but I have been sick so I was looking forward to this weekend since my new suit and front fender should be here this week and now its saying rain this weekend but if there is any sun on sunday like they say I am gonna ride. I am not afraid of wet and dirty canyon roads.

I would rather have snow than rain personally. But I get your point.

Bikes don't melt in the rain, but I do! Commuted 3 years in the rain, swore I would never ride in the rain again.

Not to mention the earthquakes and mudslides....you don't want to come here.

But hey, I hear you Chris. I retired last year so I can ride just about any day. But before retiring it always seemed that the rain came on weekends, which pretty much screws up surfing too. If you do ride on Sunday, just watch out for wet spots and debris in the canyons. You've got some great roads up your way, both north and south of Oxnard.

Yea I tend to take it easy on wet roads and stuff last time I went out with a group of friends right after a rainy week it was pretty dirty times I am thankful for a dirtbike riding background and knowing how to control a bike in slippery conditions.

I can't wait for some rain! They're saying maybe a little next week. I won't take my bike out until I'm satisfied that most of the salt has been washed away.
