k-d, were you on your cruiser or the Hawk that night? I don't really understand all the hatred between Harley riders and sportbikers, it's fun to laugh about, but when it comes to people getting physical or messing with each other's rides, I just shake my head.
I was on my Hawk, i have nothing against anyone on a bike whether its a sportbike or a cruiser. It was his reaction and aggression towards me that set me off.

We've shown up to their events in big numbers, and they fail to show to ours at all. They're not as big and scary as everyone likes to think. Go check out their website and see what they're really about. They only get negative press, just like our Armed Forces. ******* LIBERAL MEDIA.

K-D, you did the right thing. You made the good samaritan attempt, and the feeling I get is that you would do it again and again, and this ******* guy acts like an untrained monkey. **** him, he'll get his, from you or someone else. Probably someone within his club.
You my friend may know as much as i do about most of these groups, thanks for the support.

"Ruin my day?", just the opposite, it brought a little excitement to my long boring ride home that night after working 17 long hours .

"You can't fix retarded by throwing **** or kicking his ***" I'm sorry, i thought Ron White said it was "STUPID" that couldn't be fixed. Now i know, thanks.

Today I passed a H.A. wannabe with his ape hangers going the other direction. He waved at me, so I immediately reached for my ball bearings, but realized I left them at home, so instead I just waved back.

I want to apologize to the sport bike community for my transgressions, I will send my keys in immediately and start listening to Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Fail. Instead of acting like a child, let it go. The ******* will get what he deserves one of these days. You will only get temporary satisfaction from beating his ***.
People like you are the reason for road rage. Maybe the guy was having a bad day, and you simply lit his short fuse. Just shake your head and let it go buddy.

Mr Williams, sir;
You've been a biker for so long to know all kinds of bikers including yourself Sometimes, some people are beyond help & your first posting described 'em precisely. However, in the heat of the moment (so to speak) don't let 'em control your self judgment.
Hardley bikers aren't worth dying for,I suppose.

What a doofus.

Finger over the front brake.

You can tell by the 2nd pic after he grabbed the bar again he panicked and grabbed the front brake mid corner, the tire is off the ground by then and not spinning.

Hey there Spanky, for someone who does not know me very well. You sure put alot into those two sentences...

"Failure, Acting like a child, Temporary satisfaction from a *** beating, I'm the reason for road rage".

Next time your in and around San Antonio or Austin Texas, I'll be glad to go for a short ride with you so you can get to know me a little better. Until then STFU.

Yep, all he would have had to do was flip me off and i would have flipped him off back and i would have been on my way. It was the verbal threats and aggressive response that wound me up.

I would be glad to get to know you, however I do not see the reason for your overreaction. Obviously it was very rude of the rider to curse you out, however there is no reason to go overboard and potentially cause bodily harm to him over that. Rather than that, simply shake your head for the way they overreact and laugh that they acted like a child.

Even the ones that can ride have their hands full. The shots of big cruisers that can get it are the ones of the old guy that runs that Gap on his Goldwing and regularly passes sprort bike riders.

My ride, my road, no excuses.

We might need to take a "sweden" with us to keep us from terrorizing the city.

Trust me, the last thing this club needs or wants is the attention that would be generated by them going after a local citizen regardless of the situation.

This is the part I understand. I know it's easy to say all the stuff about being a bigger man, but when you've been through enough **** in your life, maybe seen a love one hurt, or even lost a loved one due to someone's ignorance or stupidity, it does change your attitude a little. I often ask myself when enough is enough. And this situation has nothing to do with the fact that he rides a Harley. I've gotten rude reactions from dumb bitches in suv's driving with flat tires or headlights/taillights out that I simply was trying to help. You try to help these ******* morons so their ignorance doesn't kill a loved one-your's or someone else's, five minutes down the road. I've also had folks purposely try and hit me on my bike, in my car, and even walking down the street for no reason at all. A few months out of the hospital still learning to walk again-first night out on a date putting money in the meter-get a beer bottle thrown at my head by an suv load if drunk kids-explodes inches away from my head against the wall. I run to tell a cop, who was sitting RIGHT THERE in her car. She says "what do you want me to do about it?"

BTW You'd love the story of the "immigrants (don't want to offend anyone) who were working down the street who decided to help themselves to my brother & my BBQ grill. Their attitude changed fast a few miles down the road when the driver had a glock in his face I know it's "childish" and that it could've gotten REALLY ugly. I know folks will say "is it really worth it?" But after awhile some folks NEED to be taught a lesson. When is enough enough? Why should I have to bust my *** working all week to pay for my BBQ so some ********** can steal it? Where do YOU draw the line? Should WE be the ones to do it? Probably not. SOMEONE's going to do it eventually. But I feel your pain brother. I've been in more situations like that than I can remember, and usually have to walk away. It's really tough. I guess at the end of the day it's just not worth your trouble though. We try to pick and choose our battles and the only one that ******* is going to hurt is himself. Sucks to be sorry for trying help someone...

I guess these situations can be like carrying a gun and deciding when to use it. If you can walk away and end the situation do it. You can't fight and "educate" every ******* out there. There are simply too many. If you're backed or about to be backed into a corner it's nice to know you have the option and, at least for now, you're still allowed to exercise it. I know I'm wrong sometimes and make mistakes. I also try and take into account the fact that I have no idea the reason for someone's shitty attitude someones. Stay safe brother.

Love it!!!!!

While there are some Harley riders who clearly are not posers and are "real motorcyclists" (mind you I really cannot understand their choice of vehicle, but I digress), the whole HOG phenomena has become the "flavour du jour" for Baby Boomers going through an identity crisis and most HOG owners are just f***in' posers, people I have NO TIME for. I could be more tolerant of them if they were even the slightest bit respectful of other motorcyclists but most of them walk around arrogance and the attitude that only they know anything about bikes and riding when, if this were anywhere close to true, they would be riding virtually anything BUT a HOG. What a bunch of losers!!!!!!

I resisted joining this conversation previously, but here are my two cents.

The decline of personal responsibility, decency, humility, etc. in our society is more dangerous than any other threat we now face. Climate change and socialized health care can't hold a candle to it.

The average person has the attention span of a house cat and demands more and more "extreme" stimuli and diversions. People dress to intimidate and adopt facial expressions and body postures to reinforce this. They want everyone to be wary of them so they cop a "don't **** with me" attitude. We see the results of "random acts of unkindness", such as vandalism and grafitti, everywhere.

What started this? Hip-hop culture? No, but it helped. What sustains it? MMA/UFC, "reality programming"? Maybe. What will the end result be? The poisoning of everyone who is exposed to this caustic environment. People will become tense and stressed by the meaness of everyday life and it will show in decreased productivity, more illness, and more anti-social behavior. It escalates as it poisons and to reiterate, it's more dangerous than anything else we now face.

Henry Rollins has a bit of spoken word about something like this. (Rollins is the big dude from the hardcore band Black Flag.)

At this one show, a guy in the front kept filling his mouth up with soda, then spitting at Rollins. Rollins got ready to jump on the guy, then thought: By fighting this jerk, I make him my equal. I say this ******* is on equal footing. I make him important and diminish myself. So when you pick your enemies, choose carefully because you are also defining yourself.

But aside from all his... A guy I knew in HS killed a guy in a backstreet brawl with a single punch and went to jail for it. Even if you don’t give a nut for another person’s life – even a scumbag – you have to look out for yourself. Is it worth going to jail for? Unless you’re threatening my life (tossing coins, nuts and bolts at me while I’m riding) or my family, it’s probably not worth it, IMHO.

If you’ve got the type of temper that makes you NEED to f*ck someone up for being an *******, take up boxing or visit the gym more often… for your own preservation (to avoid jail or – as unlikely as it might seem – getting beaten up yourself) and the protection of others.

Just my .02. Certainly no offense intended.

NP Captain. Rollins was always getting into fights. 'could be that his pacifist attitude developed when he started realizing that he wasn't the biggest bad *** around anymore. -- R
