LOL Racer celebrates one lap too early

Its actually really easy. I have done it a few times the other way, as in I just kept racing after the checkered because I was so focused on the dice I was in.
A buddy of mine lost a championship because they forgot to throw the white (last lap) flag and only showed checkered. Man was he mad cuz a huge part of racing is the last lap pass, no one wants to do it too early.
There is another one where Toseland was wheelying as a celebration before the line and got passed & lost.
Have you seen this one where Haga crashes himself out shaking his fist at Biaggi who cant even see him?
