Up to a second faster per corner?

This is a fantastic claim. Motorcycle Innovations (Mottoinno) had designed a front end that is quite amazing really. Read about it below:
Up to a second faster per corner? Motorcycle Innovation's futuristic front end

I thought it was a Foale design at first, with the odd look to it. For those who don't know who Tony Foale is, do yourself a favor and Google him.

Looks like a complex system of weights and pulleys.

I see so many points of movement. So much for KISS.

Well I looked at that article a couple of days ago and I could not see what was significantly different compared to previous forkless designs. They've still got hub centre steering so need that complex inner bearing/kingpin arrangement, and the steering lock is then limited by the swingarm/ground clearance compromise. The scissor link to the steering head has also been done before. Still, looked like great workmanship.

The demise of the crude telescopic fork has been predicted for several decades now, but it just keeps getting better.

Pretty interesting. I always found that manmade designs always mimicked nature in some way. I imagined that a gazelle & cheetah in a chase were Gods best designs in cornering and handling on essentially a single track design.

I can see where this comes close to the mechanisms that allow those animals to maneuver as they do.

Would love to see how it does though.

What could possibly go wrong, it's so simple.

Right, so tracking down damping issues will be a snap.

Guess they will just have to prove themselves on the track. Historically the makers find that there are a ton of nuances and variables they hadn't accounted for.
