I think it's cool looking, and should be fun to ride...

Kinda retro for my taste. Good old honda, they sure are zany. Like the "adventure touring" vc700 with only 47 hp. Or "improving" the vfr by making it the heaviest bike in the class by a huge margin.

Nice, but it's missing one retro touch, exhaust like on my 750 Nighthawk, on both sides!!

Looks like a big snoozer. Even the video made it look boring. I guess they know who they're targeting with a bike like that, though.

The one I would like to see produced is the CB1100R concept.

Yeah I've seen it (new CB) in the magazines and last weekend in person at the Cleveland show. I like the color but it stickers at $9999 - think I could find way more bike at less than half the price. Those Superhawks are pretty cool !

Its a shame about Honda going in the wrong direction with the VFR (too heavy and way too pricey) but Honda will get it straightened out.

At 61 years of age, I am retro. I don't want a bike that reminds me of it.

What you have here is what we used to call a UJM universal japanese motorcycle. Or in Honda parlance a "K" model as opposed to "F" or "R" models.

True, and I didn't like the K models way back when, either.

I had an 81 CB900F I loved it. A buddy of mine found a pristine CB1100F just last year. His GSX1100 sits in a corner cause he's on the CB more often than not!

Yea a little too old school for me, although I always did enjoy the nighthawks that I owned.

Is that curvy exhaust a CB400F lift or what - I wonder if it handles like one?

The styling doesn't bother me a bit, I actually like it.

But the sucky performance from a de-tuned 1100 and cheesy non-adjustable suspension bits make it unappealing to buy.

What a wasted opportunity to bring back a market of folks who loved UJMs.

So while it is a nice bike..... or a K bike that actually works.....

I wouldn't want one as the first thing we used to do to K bikes.....yep I'm a old guy too.... was to turn them into our own version of F or R bikes or full cafe so why bother with that route again..... Just ride the VTR

That video was a snoozefest...

I like old Hondas. Owned a couple - '78cb750F was a $500 bike, sat in a barn for about 15 years. Although I can appreciate the nostalgia in a bike like that, as others have said, outdated non-adjustable suspension, and a detuned engine would dissuade me from such a purchase.

If I want old tech, I'll buy another old bike for peanuts and fix it myself.

I took out both the NC and the new VFR at a honda demo ride last August.

The VFR was a heavy pig, and the NC700 - although a commuters dream for the gas mileage - was way too slow... quite a boring machine.

I'd rather have a CBR250 than that thing. At least on the 250 I had to work the gearbox and ring its neck, but it did alright for what it was, and it was real light and flickable. I felt involved when riding that thing. The NC was real boring.

Yeah I love those. Just like my first bike-an '80 CB650C. I think it's a beautiful bike though, just not sure not many they'll actually sell. Hey Harley sells enough sportsters and I'm sure this is a hell of a lot more bike for the money and it's every bit as good looking. Now that CB1100R? Definitely one of the best looking bikes I've seen in a long time...I'd love to park one of those in the garage. Hopefully they can give it some ***** too. Like Suzuki's GS1200SS. Be neat to see everyone making some retro sportbikes like these. Some of the newest stuff may go like hell but alot of it also looks like crap.

Yeah, that's more like it. Sounds and sounds 1000x better!

Here's my Nighthawk for comparison
