Thats more race bike than the VTR was ever meant to be though. Its more RC51 to me than VTR (and yes I do realize the base bike there is a VTR) To me the RC51 is a better bike to update if you want something like that, if you want an updated VTR I think it should end up more like an ST. It was originally meant as a more comfortable sporty bike and not a bent over the tank race bike like the RC51 was. Add some factory luggage, better brakes, better suspension, update the styling, and put a bigger gas tank on the B*tch and thats a proper update to the hawk

Edit: lol talk about off topic though.. I thought this was a VFR thread not VTR

I don't mind the "bubbled" lines. You go sharp and you just look like another CBR/RC-51/VFR/GIXXER/Sv650s/FZ6R/R1/R6/Ninja/S1000rr/RSV4/RC8/F-117 blah blah blah

What would be nice is to see some solenoid valves and integrated GoPro mounts

What go pro really needs to do is Collab with a bike company and have like 6 integrated cameras into the bike and u just stick a memory card in the dash

out of control thread jack

i think what i like about the hawk is its so versatile. someone on here called it a UJM- Universal Japanese Motorcycle. you tailor it to suit you. ive seen it raised, lowered, used as a sport tourer, a drag bike, a race bike, a canyon carver, a commuter, high bars, low bars, full luggage, fully stripped, race fairings, **** tires, slicks, rain, snow, hot summers, and an almost infinite amount of mods that make it unique. i think its a bike that has a great power plant, really reliable, and thats affordable so people are able to spend a little more making it what they want.

For me i like it to be more of a super sport type bike, although i know its never gonna be a cbr or r1 etc... BUT i dont want it to be. but i respect and dig that people make it more tour friendly or whatever suits them best. but i think all the mods are fun and enjoy it just like i do riding. that VTR that i posted is so unique and u wont see another just like it. that to me PLUS the fact that i can SMOKE crossplane R1's in the twisties makes me love my hawk
