underside swingarm brace

its funny i had been thinking about trying a swingarm brace on the bottom, and just so happen to come across this image while searching for something unrelated.

im thinking of doing this rather than a top side brace for a couple reasons

1. because i wouldnt have change anything with the caliper mount or the swingarm brake tab.

2. because im worried that i wouldnt have enough clearence for the brace because of my hindle exhaust being a semi high mount. its tucked into the bike like a full high mount is but it runs right past where the brace you fit and i beleive it would hit to pipes as the suspension is compressed. Am i correct with this thought?

3. it looks sweet!

so would it be possible to use a 900rr brace on the underside or would something need to be custom fabricated? im thinking with a custom brace i could have it fabbed up a bit beefier than to 900rr brace which seems a little dainty compared to some braces ive seen on other stock bikes. and what about clearance on the bottom, i have a sharkskinz lower like the bike in the photo but it seems like theres not really any interference as long as i keep the front side of the brace low enough to not hit the mid pipes as the suspension moves.

That is a JMC swingarm. Shouldnt be a problem to duplicate.

yes it was an aftermarket item.

looks easy enough to duplicate.
linkage clearance doesn't look to be a concern.

We'll Ill take a picture from the back of the bike to let u guys see the clearence I have on the top of the swingarm after I get off work. What would I be looking at in terms of cost for materials and labor to have something like this done? And what kind of shop am I looking for? The things I've had welded in the past have been done by a friend at his house but he's out of state for a few months so I've gotta go elsewhere

so my issue lies in the way the pipes angle right across the area where a 900rr brace would sit or so it seems. does anyone have the dimensions of the brace as in how far it sits above the swingarm in the front and about mid way back on the SA?
