this is what I did to keep my passenger pegs with a TBR high mount system. Cut, weld, grind, sand blast. They didnt come out too bad. Plus my girlfriend likes the riding position better.

I tried "extending" the bolts and using the factory rear assembly but even with case hardened bolts and spacers there was too much leverage on the bolt with a passenger resting their feet on the peg. The bolts flexed enough so that the bracket "tapped" against the cans.

I have the aluminum round cans (think they are the C4)? I am leaning toward having a custom bracket fabbed and then polishing it. Info on the Gixxer assembly would be great...I am open to new ideas.

i just bought mine from somebody. how did you make them pegs and make them look that good? They look factory with a factory finish and everything! would you be interested in makein another set?
