Re: two brothers pics.

They are the c 4 carbon fiber, they are load though. When my buddy took a break at the track he said he could hear me ALL THE WAY around the track! But they didn't kick me off like the guy on the BUELL. And never stoped by cops for load pipes so I guess just load enough the loader the better down here! What ya say sonny?

Re: two brothers pics.

HAH! I can't believe the timing of this post. I was looking at the 2br's site yesterday wondering what the diff cans look like after meeting a guy with them on his bike.

IMO they sound and look simply AWESOME. Very deep thumpy resonance. Only downside is you lose the passenger pegs but surely there would be a way around it.

Re: two brothers pics.

Here are some more pics... the spouts are dirty... ran out of Mothers...

I removed the stock blinkers for the flushmounts and trimmed the rear for just the plate....this is the way it came.. but had to put the stockers back on for safety inspection on the Air Station...

Soon to sport a hugger, undertail and lowers... maybe some graphics

oh yeah... and one more thing... don't give me crap about the 'unused' portion of the rear rubber.... havent had time to go into some twisties yet.... LOL!!

Re: two brothers pics.

I'm not sure where I saw it but a SHawk owner had the 2Bros. high-mounts and was able to retain the passenger pegs by using a set of GSX-R1000 pegs ( 1st generation).
I wish 2Bros. offered the V.A.L.E. exhausts for the SHawk. Those pipes are HOT!!!!

SPRHK - what kind of rearsets are they? They almost look homemade.
IF so, nice job.

Re: two brothers pics.

cdyer77,
They are Coerce Racing rearsets. They aren't as flashy as others, but they are great! Especially for only 325.00. They are imported from Japan. They also have front sprocket covers, carbon fr. fender and rear huggers (both in picture) and carbon bellypan (on it's way).

fellas with two bros, do you have any issues with air leaking where the can attaches to the elbow, by the springs? is this joint solid? i was shown how this section can be shaken loose easily and cause leaks. . . comments?

i think i like the sound of the two bros compared to the jardines, but i've yet to hear jardines with race cores. . .

I am running TBR low mount polished alums, and I am not noticing any major leaks. The springs can stretch over time, and allow the can to move more than it should, but very little air is escaping on my bike, even when cold. My advice would be to check your springs, because the system is well designed IMHO.

thanks Loco. . . . "but very little air is escaping" = so you do have some minor leakage then? so when the springs go, just replace em i guess?

i've heard twins blowing (as in exploding) hindles and yosh pipes, i could imagine all that pressure and just two little springs holding the can back.

but if anything, i'd also like to try TB standard low mount alums . . .

Well,

By very little, I mean negligible. You can feel it a little bit if you put your hand up to the last joint, and rev the engine, but its not anywhere near the point where I'm losing backpressure or hearing any kind of hissing. With TBR, however, for some reason their exhaust gaskets aren't the same as the stock ones, and I've heard of people replacing those because you will just clamp and clamp and clamp that bracket, only to have the pipe not be snug-tight. If you're a perfectionist, you could try changing out those gaskets.. it's usually just one side that has a problem (brake side i think?).

Tangent (Speaking of exhaust concerns):
Personally, I'm getting more and more aggravated by my PAIR system. I feel like my **** isn't tuned right, even though that popping means it IS. I'm not sure who said the PAIR system sounds cool, but I'd be willing to bet it pisses off way more people than not. Not meaning to hijack the thread with this, just didn't feel like making a whole new post.

DustinRay-
Where did you find a high mount for the SH? I've been looking for months with no success. 2Bros isn't making them any longer. All I need is the mid pipe to convert my standard mount to high mount. Thanks in advance.

And LeoVinci sends aluminum extensions and long bolts with their high mount system for the SH. This allows you to keep the stock passenger pegs and simply bolt them on outside the cans. Home Depot should have everything you need for about $20.00
