For those who already have the older style screws, and wish to have them modified, send me a PM, and, we can make arrangements.

Also, sorry for those of you who have not purchased any before, but, with new shipping costs as of January 1st, I've upped the price by 5$.
Yes, I'm an ungrateful bastard...
Nice job. I think the lightened screws will consequently perform better and be more durable in the long term. Did you also shorten them or would that make adjustment difficult?

How much then is the new price, as I may opt for a pair to try in my spare set of carbs?

Vibration cure - Low strength (purple) Loctite?

These look amazing... Can't wait until I'm broke and don't need a pair, then I'll order a set... That's how we do it in America

And without relocating coolant recovery bottle, how is ease of adjustment front & rear carb?

Did shorten them a tad, but couldn't too much since it would render then even more difficult to adjust.
35$ shipped.

Received my set today. What works of art these are, seems a shame to hide them in the deep recesses of the Hawk. Thanks, JF, for doing these so that we can easily set the fuel adjustment now.

Winter projects always seem like a good idea until winter arrives.

I bought one of these for both extra lighting as well as the heat it kicks out. Then I point it at the ceiling, so I get softer diffused light instead of going blind every time I glance that direction.

Demand is up again, and would like to see who is interested before I make another run. Don't want to make to many for nothing, and, don't want to be short.
If you've already shown interest, I will PM you just to validate your order. If not, shoot me a PM, and I will add you to my list. Will probably be another week or two before I have a chance to make them, so, you have time.

Thanks to everyone...

OK maybe I'll get a set for my 2nd set of carbs (BTW, I need a 3rd set of carbs as at 90,000 miles I've just about worn out slides and needles in the 2 sets I have).

Can you post photos and basic dimensions of the current units; i.e., length they extend from the bottom of the carbs at 2-1/2 +/- turns out and thumb screw head thickness and diameter? Also, are they brass or aluminum and about how much do they weight?

Thx

6gr and 43mm total length. 2 turns out 22mm. Brass.

Can have them aluminum if you wish.

And 22 mm exposed below the rear carb does not impinge on the hoses, etc beneath? Have most gone with brass or aluminum? What type aluminum; i.e., 6061T6 for example?

As I said, I'm up for a set just now its the above 2 queries hold up pulling the trigger...

Thx

Length has been calculated before doing them. If not, I would have over 40 to 50 sets to fix to date. As far as material used, it's always been brass, but, can look into aluminum for worrying minds. However, type of aluminum may influence final pricing, and, been trying to keep this as low as possible.

My question to you Skok, is why bother with me ? In your line of work I'm more then sure you have access to the machinery to produce these yourself, why not make your own ? You would be able to use the materials you want, the design you want, and, the size, weight, etc. you want.

I'll take a set in brass, thank you.

I do not know how or why you think I currently have the means and methods to readily develop and manufacture such items myself. Once upon a time I certainly did, and I still have the knowledge, experience, education and skills (though probably with some corrosion if not a patina on them) to do so but I now have not the time or have I had access to needed equipment for many moons.
