Girlfriend !....Are you kidding me. No way is she touching my screws. Wait...that sounded funny right there.

I have a good size hand. Large size. But have long fingures, so, with a little twist and turn, I do manage to adjust quite well. You just have to find a trick that works for you.

Mine are here and they look very good. Im excited to fit them.

I cant see vibration being any issue.

Only issue I see is getting the old D screws out without the tool.

Thumb Air Screws or A/S's

NZSpokes you will not be disappointed!

I finally got around to installing the new thumb screws today and they are better than stock as far as fitment goes.

My SH A/S runs around 3 complete turns out from the closed position and the OEM air screws fitment was sloppy at this setting the A/S's actually wobbled in the screw hole!

Now with the new Jack Flash thumb screws there is no slop or looseness of the air screws in the screw hole and their tight using the OEM O-Ring, washer and spring.

I do need to open up the A/S's a little after the sync and test run at 3 turns out, getting popping at deceleration in gear so I needed to open her up a little, I left the bike to cool down and came back later and stuck my fat hand in and opened her up a half turn and the popping stopped.

Now the only way to do this before was to jack around with my Motion Pro A/S tool which was hit and miss.

Is there a perfect way to adjust the a/s's without pulling the carb set, no but at least with the thumb screw units adjustment is possible on a cool motor!

I am very happy with my set, Jack Flash produced a fine item well worth the cash IMO!

Well, I guess I have no choice, another run must be made. The ones who've already PM'd me, no worries. If anyone else wants some, send me a PM, and, I'll add you to the list.

received and installed

Thank You Very Much. The only possible improvement wouuld be small holes in the adjustment thumb grips. Which you could use a small phillips or something similar to adjust without having to remove the tank and such.. at first I thought something was shady about the purchase. Because I received a small block of particle board...??? Then I took off the packing tape and POW there they were. Nice shipping package! Thanks Again

You could also use a smaller coolant overflow bottle and relocate it, so you can get a hand underneath the carbs to adjust the fuel screws.

I have to have my hands at different angles but can get to both with ease with the bottle there. No problem when the motor is hot.

My good friend Mikstr sent me this link today. Kind of makes me wonder if I'm too cheap on pricing, or someone else out there is a better business man then I am.

Idle Mixture Screw Carburetor Carb for Keihin Butterfly Carburetor CV40 CV44 | eBay

So, if you think I'm screwing you, then you can send your business his way

Oh, and by the way, from here on, I just decided to up the price to 90$ shipped.

Just kidding. I can't do something like that to my fellow Hawkers/Fire Stormers. Which makes me the worst business man in Canuck country.

Whereas I had technical questions/suggestions, I NEVER complained or insinuated your price was too high. I think you did a super job for a very reasonable price.

I think they are a screaming good deal. That guy stole your idea. Sue him.

You could make a killing selling them for that, if anybody would buy them that is.

Wish I could get one for my KDX.

damn, I'm glad I got mine while the price was still low! (excellent bit of work on your part I might add)

Notice the part on ebay is coming from china, who will pay that much? I'd rather give my money to a fellow VTR rider I trust than to some guy in china.

BTW, thanks for the air mail, awesome.

Well, it seems I am being asked for more of these. However, before I go out and have another batch made, I'd like to see how many are interested.

Shoot me a PM to confirm, or, just post on this thread.....
