single radiator devinative guide? can u help??

hi all, i know.. i know .... sorry for all you regular readers / mods etc , its been asked many times and i have done some searches and some reading . ive just bought another hawk . it has some serious work done motorwise and its a naked , i believe it has moriwaki cams pistons flowed heads aftermarket programmable ignition micron system and airbox/ carb mods , and close ratio gearbox , i came across it and bought it , it was a risk because i dont know its history and got it cheap .
so i gambled on it but put up a few miles and while it dosent like traffic much the motor feels sound enough , so im gonna take another gambler and put more work into the chassis/cosmetics , hopefully ill do a thread on the build starting soon (recoverig from shoulder surgery at the moment ) .

so.... to the point , i would like toput a single rad on , and have had some advise already (ie cbr 600 and hornet 600 rads ) but i believe in this motors state of tune ill need as much as possible , so what is the biggest rad i can get in ? that wont need fabrication (other than brackets etc )

the oil cooler has already moved , and there will be a 07 cbr1000r front end going on . i believe this will comprimise me further because of fatter fork legs ?

hopefully someone can help .

i like the idea of the underseat system but will be puttin a smaller seat unit on so this is out ....

i dont have a buget for complete fabrication so hopefully someone knows of something not too exotic that may work

Been done plenty of times, so I am sure someone will be able to give you an answer on here.

BUT, just in case they can't or you want another opinion, log onto OzFirestorm http://ozfirestorm.com.au/OZFireStorm.html and contact a member on the forum called "nudenut". He has a single front radiator and runs it without a cooling fan. In our hot climate it works pretty well except if he is stuck in traffic, but a fan would fix that. He will be able to tell you what the radiator came off.

Oh, and just in case anyone is wondering "nudenut" gets his name from the fact he loves naked bikes. It isn't anything weird.

Although he certainly is.

nice score on the bike, I had seen that one on the UK eBay site. Should be a runner if it was well maintained.

Welcome to teh site and good luck on your project
