Shortened Cans
#4
I cut 5" off my Yoshi's, I thought they were too long stock, and a tad too quiet for my liking. I cut them down and repacked them at the same time, and they sound and look great with no ill effects that i've been able to notice.

Have reserves this weekend, but had to take my hugger off today due to that ****** getting cracked - previous owner - and it fell on the tire
Will patch it with some glass, and when i put it back on take the exhaust off and cut it, I didn't buy this bike to be quiet, only worry is if I go to tracks for track days and they have noise ordanices - In germany they had them, even wiht my ZX6R I had to get a different exhaust to run on the Green Hell

I assume you are talking about OEM cans? I did a partial bafflectomy and the sound is good. I'm thinking of cutting about 8" off my OEMs since it looks the most length without getting into the front section, but haven't got to it yet. Post some pics of your cut cans if you can? thanx, and welcome to the forum.
