Rc51 front end swap prep

Just bought a full stock RC51 SP1 front end. Thanks yoomit. Wheel, rotors, calipers, forks, bearings, upper and lower triples, and clip ons. While I'm waiting for it to come, is there anything I should get in preparation? Brake lines, new bearings, etc? Just so I'm able to have everything ready for the swap once it's here. Ive never done a swap before so I'm not sure exactly what will transfer over and what needs to be replaced. Also any advice on prepping for the swap and or tips for while I'm doing the swap will be appreciated. I'm sure I'll come up with more questions once the parts are here. Thanks guys!

I search on here like a mad man. Making sure I don't overlook anything. I think I've got pretty much everything. The only think I'm not sure of is bake lines. Do I need new ones to use the RC calipers? I run a nissin master cylinder and 900rr calipers. Will any aftermarket VTR brake lines work? Or better yet will my current lines work?

should be fine. Measure from the top triple (new bottom should be gull wing) to the axle center before and after. Make it the same and all should be good with brake line length..

slo1 ur here to??! ha!

Im not familiar with superhawks but i did notice the stock bars sit in top of the top triple.
The bars on the RC sit below its top triple.
Since ur transferring over all ur current cables, lines, etc the only foreseeable issue may be you'll have a bit more slack on all those items.
Not a huge deal, u can probably reign the slack in.

That would be true but my whole front end was already swapped by the previous owner with a cbr900rr front end and the clip on are below the triple. I'm thinking there about the same place now as the new controls will sit after the swap.

Sounds good. I'm trying to get all my ducks in a row so when everything arrives i won't run into any issues. One question, do the clip ons have any rise in them at all? From the pictures it looks like there's no rise at all on them.

I think they have slight rise, but top of bars still end up lower than top of top triple.
I dont think the RC was designed for comfort riding ;p
