RC51 front end - best bars?

For all those who've switch to and RC51 front end, what did you find worked best for bars? I am still not happy with what I have now (convertibars I had on the stock front - which allow some choice of position but are too bulky for the room available to get it right).

I'm talking about fit and riding position.

thanks

SlowHAWK is an unknown quantity at this point
I haven't ridden mine yet... bu just put on a set of Ducati 900SS Helis.... I have them 13mm lower than the bottom of the triple, and they clear everything except a minor touching of the headlight switch to the front fairing... I can send pics tommorrow, as they are home on my camera...

Hopefully in the next 2 weeks I'll get my first ride in... finally bolted everythign on lastnight to get it rolling... not I have to ut the exhaust, brakes, fairings etc back together!!!

thanks, but from your mods it looks like you are still using the SH front end though (forks, triples, correct?). I'm looking for what works best on the RC51 front. The forks are larger diameter and they stick up through the triples a fair amount making it trickier.

Hey Cilby,

I have all of my parts collected for my RC swap and I bought TL-1000 helibars. They have one of the highest rises that can fit on the RC forks from what I have read on the forums. Someone used them on a 929 swap and even with the gullwing triple on the 929 the heli's cleared the lower fairing.
