And....here are the pistons back from cryogenic treatment and thermal coating.....
No fly cut needed for the 11.5:1's with the cams I have. Plenty of radial and PTV clearance. This thermal coating is good to 2700 degrees farenheight which I will hopefully never experience.

I should mention, I went with ARP because they are cheaper than OEM and they are manufactured to a better spec. It's not necessarily that they break, it's that they distort under load and can lose tolerance. The ARP's hold the tolerance on the big end better. I run pretty tight oil clearance so in my case that is very important, but for any motor at 10k it's critical; in my opinion.
