pirelli evo corsa's

i was in desperate need of a set of tyres today and its not the best week for it as im pretty skint. basically i was after a set of diablo corsas but that would have really strained the bank balance so i opted for the evo corsas as they were on offer and worked out over £50 cheaper than the diablos.
i know that the diablos are the newer model but do you reckon i should have spent the extra £50 on them or are the evo's a good tyre?? if anyone uses or has used them id love to hear some feedback on them for things such as grip, durability etc. cheers

Re: pirelli evo corsa's

I've used Diablo's before. Great tire really sticky but the life of the tyre straight up sucked. I had to replace the rear after 2000 miles. Keep us posted on how the Evo's turn out. I'm curious to the life of them

Re: pirelli evo corsa's

Then you would hate the 208's. I went through 2 sets last summer. I got about 2500 per rear tyre on it. I'm running Sportec's right now, so it will be interesting to see how they last. I have a friend who's running the Dunlop Qualifier's and after 300 miles yes 300 they are wearing out quick. He's kinda pissed about how the road just eats them up.
