OCMD circa 2016

It's winter here in Montreal and so that means modding season. Tired of constantly worrying about the status of the oval steering neck in my bike's frame, I picked up a replacement frame and had it reinforced (slightly; combined with the HARC-Pro replica brace, it should firm things up nicely) and powdercoated (with help, as always, from my trusty and well connected bud Jack Flash). Thought I would share some pics of said frame with you.

Bike is currently in the process of being put back together. I must say I really like the looks of the black frame (will give it a real "sleeper-esque" look)

Anxious to hear how different those frame mods will feel.
Share pics along the way.

Will do. I don't expect it to totally transform the bike, but together with the HARC-replica rear (subframe) brace, it should stiffen things up nicely, or so I hope.

In the process of swapping the frame, JF noticed the reservoir line for the (freshly rebuilt) rear shock was leaking, so will need to get that addressed too (before being able to evaluate the frame mods....

this winter really sucks... too much mild weather (at the start of the season) and not enough snow to go snowmobiling (grrrrrrrrrr). Let winter look and feel like winter, then move onto spring and summer, this half-*** crap is no good for anyone interested in benefiting in what the various seasons have to offer.....
