micron exhaust
does micron exhaust require tuning or any other modification if i just get slip on pipes? read alot if you put slip ons on after you have to tune it. i only plan on doing slip on exhaust and thats it

if you're gonna go to the expense of changing the exhaust you might as well tune the carburetors so the bike runs best. At least try hawks carb tune thread, it's easy and you will be glad you did it.

So the answer is no, you dont at all have to, all will be fine as is. But since they flow more you will get benefit from some (re-)jetting (there is a detailed thread about it on here).
But if you are asking this question, its unlikely you are about to rip into your carbs.
A shop will charge you a lot to do the job, so wait til you're bored or want to dump the money.

I have a micron exhaust and with factory settings on the carb and pair disabled it does run a little lean. Minor tiny pop ever once in a while. Just as smokin joe said you would be fine as is.
I'm certainly happy with it sounds good.
