PM'd it to you. This shouldn't take long at all. Probably less than an hour at work once I get the stack.

Good job, mick! Now where do I send the money for mine?

The reason the I4 guys like this is when the engine really starts to breathe these stacks take it to another level. That can only be great for the Superhawk because extending her haul only makes her that much more of a freight train.

I like going everywhere in low gear.

These (longer) stacks are designed to beef up the lows and mids (to the tune of 5 hp in the upper mids apparently) without any loss in top end. The ones that give a boost in top end are the shorter ones

Got your messages. If it gets here by this weekend I should have this wrapped up and on its way back to you by Monday. Glad to help!

No big hurry bro, I pulled it from the front carb and replaced it with a long OEM velo stack, so I'm sill in business

can anyone explain HOW these work instead of what power/response gain we should see?

improve cylinder filling (especially @ in the lower two-thirds of the rev range), thereby increasing torque. They were developed on a flow bench and proven on a dyno.

It is more about adjusting where the power will happen in the RPM range than it is about increasing the peak number. (because it probably won't increase the peak, though it can make the power more available over a wider range of RPMs)

The stacks (the longer of the two versions offered) do NOT increase peak numbers. They were designed to boost the lows and mids WITHOUT penalizing the top end. The short ones, on the other hand, were designed to work on highly modded engines whose operating envelope is in the higher registers.

Had a little bit of free time today so I went ahead and got started on the general profile of the stack. Didn't have anything to go by other than using your picture. Thankfully you had a quarter placed for reference and that gave me something to use.

When you part arrives I will reverse engineer the stack on the CMM and then transfer that dimensional data to my 3D model I've already started so that to make it accurate of the actual part. Helps speed up the process for you guys.

People do. And with both stock longer ones I think you lose a little bit in the high RPM range. Though I could be wrong.

two long OEM runners = slight increase in lows and mids with slight loss on top

FLO, I was out at Barber @ AMA and came home to the stack sitting on the door step. It arrived safe and sound. I'll get started on it Monday.

While carbon would be nice, I'd take them in cast iron if I had to, lol (hell, pottery clay if I knew it would hold up....) I am REALLY looking forward to bolting a set of these onto my VTR..... (I know, most of you are probably shocked by that revelation, lol)
