Not without either some washers to lower the ignition (like I did) or drilling a new hole in the steering head as Bngt did.

Alright, bought a complete front end for a gsx-r 600 for $240. Not too shabby.

I cant believe how cheap those things go for. I was so tempted to get one for my
SV650 but talked myself out of it. Is the stem the same lenth? I thought that was the issue.

Erik S. was able to get a GSXR 600 triple to work with a custom machined top steering bearing from Allballs. The GSXR 1000 triple (to my knowledge) has only been used with a machined (shortened) steering stem.
