help front forks

i just bought 900rr front forks for my superhawk. my problem is the forks fit and the brakes line up but i need spacers to make the calipers fit the wider front forks and i will need a new shaft or maybe a 900rr shaft and spacers??
my question is what do i need and how do i get it so i can get my bike back on the road??

People will help you as soon as you're like, "Hey, I searched around, and So-and-so did this conversion, and they were talking about x and y. So I've got y and z, and I think all I need now is x. Does that sound right?"

Good folks around here. Just do some legwork.

IIRC the wheel was a direct swap besides it being a 16" the rotors should be the same and I think it even used the same axle. I know the 900rr guys used F3 wheels and that's a direct fit to both bikes so I would think it should just bolt together with the 900 forks, clip-ons and triples.

well i just put the forks on and it seems to sit wider than the hawk forks so the brake calipers don't line up with the rotors or the rim with the forks. i work on cars so excuse me on some of the terms i use like shocks or forks and stuff like

That's strange because I know for a fact that 900rr guys use the F3 wheel to get rid of the 16in front and I had an F3 wheel on the front of my bike before. Weird.

Are the spacers any different among these bikes? I know on the Superhawk, one is longer than the other.

what year 900rr forks do you have? they have to be 97 and older... if they are all you need is the cbr axle and both wheel spacers... the 98+ had a wider setup..

definitley go with the 900rr forks they are mutch better but i would sell the ones you got and get a set from 97 or older they are a direct bolt on... or just get the 99 900rr front wheel rotors and calipers, but its a 16in wheel and that just plain sucks....

This is contrary to other known information - we are checking to confirm.
