Yeah, I gave mine a partial bafflectomy. I used a 1/2inch or so rod to punch one hole through the internal wall. AFAIK, this is only a two chamber muffler. The angle of the inner tube vs the outside tip is not very large so I couldn't manage more than one hole or using a larger rod.

This is no where near the sound level of the typical superhawk bafflectomy.
It doesn't sound much louder at idle but at full throttle and on deceleration it gains a few more db's. Deceleration sounds GREAT (deep) and is a real "head turner" around town. I would like more db's but I don't want to go as far (loud) as the typical superhawk bafflectomy.

My 98 came with custom high mount brackets connected to the subframe so I needed to move the RC hangers. Easy enough as they only have one bead of weld on the underside that I cut through with a dremel and slid the hangers up the pipe to meet the bracket. There is evidence on the surface of the original location that I have yet to polish out.

I don't think they will bolt up to the stock location on the passenger peg bracket. You "might" be able to use RC brackets but I don't know if the hole spacing is the same on the subframe.
