Got the girls on the scales today

I caved a few months ago and bought 2 300# stainless shipping scales off ebay, I got around to using them. I was impressed and I'm really tempted to find 24 more pounds to shed off the Superhawk. All weights are with a full tank of gas.

Moriwaki superhawk Streetfighter: 423 pounds
NT650 Hawk 388 pounds
RC30 439 pounds

I guess I could go with a race battery, remove the cooling fan, fit some small Ti mufflers and install the carbon/kevlar race tail I have and that would do it for the Super Hawk. The goal for the RC30 is 400 pounds with a half tank of gas, that will be much harder. As for the little Hawk, it's not a project, it's a rider, no changes in her future.

This is the most common view of the SuperHawk.

If you convert your pictures to a format other than bitmap(.bmp) you'll have better looking pictures at a significantly smaller size. I was wondering how a 68kb bmp would look and yours actually looked better than I expected, but still crap.

I've had the bike for about 10 years, I put around 1000 miles a year on her. She goes to the track a few times a year, lap times are within a second or 2 of the Superhawk and about 5 or 6 seconds off my CBR1000RR times. She has a few period updates, mag wheels, Ohlins Superbike front end, Termi exhaust, and a bunch of small stuff. My goal after the engine gets re-done is 115hp and 400 pounds with a half tank of gas.
