Free Russell stainless steel brakelines for SoCal SHawks

Hey gang. I'm lined up to get my bike fitted for Russell stainless steel brake lines. Unfortunately, I can't leave my bike with them for more than a week since I need it everyday to commute on.

Does anyone out there want my spot? You'll need to leave your bike with them for roughly 5-7 business days. You will also need to drop off your motorcycle in Torrance. I can provide the contact information for the Russell representative.

For those who do not know, Russell is a division of Edelbrock Corporation.

First person to reply to this with "It's mine" gets the spot.

Thanks everyone!

I already have steel lines. But I could bring my 1977 KZ, it could use a set. And only one front disc, so it's easier for them. :-P

Ahh, sorry. We also get lots of traffic, if that makes it any better. The offer is for a set of steel brakelines, front and rear, so the company can offer SS lines for a variety of bikes (they have most of the other bikes - GSXRs, CBRs, etc - already done).

It's fast, at least. Not so much fun around a corner, but even when I'm only running 15 psi it'll take your arms off. :-)

Yikes. No thanks. I'm rather attached to my arms.

Besides, I gotta keep at least one of them to pay for gas these days... oops, wrong thread.

Notice: If I ever, EVER talk about turboing the Hawk, please shoot me. I bought it specifically NOT to turbo.
I might supercharge it just for the vareity. But why? I almost never open the throttle all the way cause I'm afraid it'll flip. :-P

man - I mean, I want to cool, and all, but if I wanted to fit in I don't think I'd be driving this. Anyways, as expensive as gas is, gas + nitrous costs more!

Resurrecting this thread!

This offer is still available. Please let me know if you're interested, and I will PM you the contact info.

Again, this offer is open to anyone, but it's probably best if you're in the LA area.
