Re: fork brace group buy? who would be intrested?

I already have a brace so I will not be partaking but I think the idea of a group buy is a good one. For those of you running the stock forks, I would heartily recommend getting a brace as it does make a noticeable improvement in the way the front end behaves

Good luck

Mikstr

All the references are to Goldwings and dirtbikes. I don't see the application to a Superhawk.

They state that you need 30-300 Superbraces - is that limited to one bike-fitment? Could we include other bike models?

Re: fork brace group buy? who would be intrested?

Interested depending on price.

Good idea to see if they will include other bikes for a total of 30 braces ordered.
That might be doiable.

Best on line price I found on these was around $130

I put one on al old Kawasaki & it helped the front end flex

I had one and sold it to mikstr when I went with an F4i front end. Previously, my VTR forks also had the racetech fix and the damper rod mod. Combined with the brace, the front end was excellent in terms of feedback and compliance but I wanted the holy grail of compression adjustment also; hence the f4i mod.

Anyway, big thumbs up to adding a brace. Money well spent IMO if you don't want to spend the time, MONEY, and effort of adding a complete, beefier front end.

That's pretty good for the short time this post has been alive.
Now what price are we talking about on the Group buy?
Something like 10% or 20% or 30%?
Inquiring minds want to know

Re: fork brace group buy? who would be intrested?

I'll ask around here.
Lately I'm meeting more SHawk owners here who aren't on the forum yet.

Did you get an answer about the order being for one model bike only?
We could quickly expand the audience if we share the good fortune.

Do you know if this will go forward as a single all or nothing order or will we be given a code to order under signifying our group?
