The cheapest I could find my Devil high mounts (polished aluminum) was around $900. That was from eurobikes.com. I would order them straight from devilbikes.com though all eurobikes did was call devil for me. And eurobikes never called me back when they said they would. I had to always call them. Devilbikes customer service was awesome though when I had to order a replacement mid pipe after a low side. Just my 2 cents

I scored brand new Jardine polished aluminum oval hi mounts to my door $566.

They're absolutely beautiful but I wish they had the race cores.

where from did you score this deal?! do they also have standard/low mount jardines?

i take it that race cores are much louder?

the shop i deal with found a set of jardine carbon fibre highmounts for $549 CAN, but i think that excludes taxes.

Well thats a steal. I think the retail on that is over a grand.

Ya, the race cores are louder but you can get a baffle that plugs in easily that takes it down to the street core level.

My deal was off Ebay. Some guy in Ontario was liquidating stock. Had 5 sets left.

Re: Devil highmounts vs Jardine highmounts

I ordered my devils from exotic sportbikes $810.00shipped for the carbonfiber. It was a toss up between the jardines and Devils for me also.A lot of my friends have jardine and said they hate them.So I stayed away from them. The devils sound great good quality exhaust. The best part I can ride all daylong on a hot summer day and still grab the cans and not burn my hands.I was worried my son would get burnt when I first put then on.

Whats there to hate? They look beautiful and well made. My only gripe is I wish the slip-on pipes leading to the cans were chrome.

I mounted mine last week too and like them. Everything fit well and went together without a problem. Beautiful finish and great sound. The race core is a little loud, but that is what I like. If I wanted it quiet I would have left the stock cans on it.

Re: Devil highmounts vs Jardine highmounts

Does Jardine make a carbon cannister?
I've seen this in a catalog or 2, but they look like the "black" aluminum I've seen in other places.

I currently have Yoshi Ti low mounts, but prefer the look of a higher mount. Anybody have the midpipes (only) for sale, maybe off a wrecked bike?
Thanks
Andy

Re: Devil highmounts vs Jardine highmounts

I would go with Jardine:

Ok, as you can see I bought & installed the Jardine’s. However, I got the model numbers mixed up and bought the Race Cores and thought they were the Street Cores. But it was still a good deal at $502.00 to my door and I ordered them last Fri and got them on Tue, not bad. I installed them Wed night and took a 2 hour test ride!!!!! I was afraid that the Race Cores would be too loud, but they were fine, not too loud at all. There is only one word to use to describe the new sound……SEXY!!!!!!!!! I am very happy with the new pipes, the look and the sound and the performance. I normally have to use the choke the start the hawk, but after the pipes it started right up and after a few little pulls on the throttle it was idling like a fuel injected bike, even thought the outside temp was about 70 degrees F (I have to use the choke even when it’s 95 degrees F) Go figure.

No flat spots like some people said, but I did notice little stumbling between 3000 ~ 6000 RPM’s but it was very, very slight, it almost felt like small bumps in the road. So I may invest in a Jet-Kit, I already have the K&N filter.

I had the same dilemma deciding between “Staintune Vs Jardine” (see topic with same name) and I chose Jardine because I could not see the value in paying almost $400 more for the Staintune , plus after hearing sound bites the Jardine pipes sounded better than all others. I could not get the smile off my face after starting her up.

The Jardine guys said about 3~4 decibels more with the Race, but they are not too loud, I live in a Apt. and no car alarms went off, they sounded very good and well within limits.

Do you have a close up photo of the mounting brackets to show how you got the cans that high?

Re: Devil highmounts vs Jardine highmounts

Ask and you shall recieve. I used the left on the right and vice versa, I also had to do some bending and twisting as well so it's not for the faint of heart. Oh yeah, I also turned the strap hanger upside down. The pipes are Jardine and the cans are 2Bros. round CF .

It should actually be easier, more room in the back with the ovals.

Do u have your mind set on these 2 brands?. If your just looking for a highmount set up theres one more thats really nice IMO. Two Brother racing or TBR is a very well made. U will pay about the same for them as the devil's. The carbonfiber is going to run up in the $950 range but i love my TBR carbonfiber highmounts.Great look and sound. If your looking for a cheaper one Jardine highmounts is the way to go u can get some for around 450 or so. Good luck and be safe .. U will be happy with any of them ... Better than stock.

Does anyone know of any heat shields for the high mounts(Jardine)? My big 'ole feet are hitting the mid pipe while riding and melting my boot to the pipe.
