cbr 600RR fork swap possible?

Has anyone tried this? I have read a ton of stuff on here for 1000RR swaps but why not these? Help me out if you know. Thanks

What year?
Call All ***** and see if they make bearings which will fit the CBR triple shaft and SH head.

inderocker is an unknown quantity at this point
I've lightly set one up since they use the same bearings. The triple works out waaay better that the RC51/954RR triple. It goes from lock to lock without coming close to the upper radiator hose, although you'd have to grind the steering stops down a bit to get the full range... but I still don't think it would hit the hose. As for the length, they are just a tad short, probably less than a half inch, but I'm sure that would be picked up in the decreased triple offset. Of course with the weight difference, springs and shim stack changes are in your future. Also, a nice handlebar setup would be hard to come by since they are 48mm

I think the main reason is the lighter springs/valves in them... You basicly need to rebuild them to cope with rider + the weight of the VTR...

If the CBR600RR forks are 48mm, what are the 1000/954 forks? Aren't they also shorter than the VTR?

They are 50 mm wide, and yes they are shorter than stock...

The thing is there are a number of higher bars that fit the 50 mm, less so on the 48... So that adds cost to do the rebuild... Also a lighter rider can use a 954/1000RR fork without changing internals... on a 929 it's marginal, a 600RR you really need to do some work...

Could someone measure the top and bottom holes of their 1000/954 triples?
