Bodywork, sprockets and all?

So it's been a few weeks but I finally got finished with the bike (mostly).....all the (mostly) new bodywork and tank is on, windscreen....the sprockets.....

Here's a before:

And an after:

And I have to say, this kit (gold RKSport 520 xw chain, 15 tooth front and aluminum 44 tooth rear) is INSANE. I weigh 165 and LAYING on the bars, wrapped in 2nd gear, front tire came up at 7000 rpms.... I've gotta get used to this!

Haven't corrected the speedo yet so I'm not sure. I'm almost afraid to find out....but man is it fun to ride. My old EX had a +4 rear....my car has 4.10's....what can I say, I like lots of gear :-D

Believe me or not but I dont do wheelies! I shift right out of first and I lean on the bars when I wrap it. It will keep the front end mostly down until the torque peak in 2nd. Third it wont come up unless I want it to

I've actually been trying to get my chicken strips off...the back tire has less than 1/2" on either side...the damn front still looks crappy though

Wheelies are no fun, railing a corner is where its at

Painted. All the panels are used bodywork from ebay, off a guy's race VTR. He was selling it off to start racing 600ss.

hell, I've had my rear tire to the edge and the front still has a healthy virgin strip! safety margin, I reckon.

Guess so huh....I keep dragging foot through these damn corners, I forget to stay in a taller gear so I dont have to shift on the exit I'm afraid of the roads around here though....sand/gravel/oil all over so I have to reserve my leaning to the small group of corners that I *know* are safe

Chicken strips are a good sign on the street!
Go to a track and roll off big sticky gumballs.

Yes Sir. I really am glad someone is using them straight up. While I am doing major reconstruction on my bike this winter... it is WAY to cold to ride right now , I enjoy my Superhawk way to much to part with it.

Oh and I have to agree with you, corners are where it's at!
