Volar Motosport Integrated Tail light

First mistake may have been buying this off of ebay but it was cheap. The tail light works well with lights and brake lights. But the left turn signal works and the right turn signal doesn't. I do have the resisters that came with the tail light but I have no idea where to hook them up to. No instructions. Can anyone give some advice?

the resistors are there just to slow down the flash rate, and they get real hot, I would toss them in the garbage and pick up a flasher unit that is made for LED lights. as for one side not working are you sure its hooked up right. does the front one still work?

I just ordered one of these so I am curious about how you get it hooked up so lemme know. Can you take a pic of how it connects/the back side?

I have the same light. It was tricky to hook up had to get a buddy to help me out. Mine works great tho, ans I did toss my resistors in the trash. I know we ended up hard wiring mine on account of the harness being bass ackwards

Geek I'll try to take some pics tonight of the back. I got it installed already so I don't know how well the pics will turn out but I will try anyways. I pretty sure that the reason why the left turn signal is not working is because of the flasher. It is going way to fast for the LED's to work. For whatever reason the relay is slower on the right turn signal than the left. Does anyone know if a digital flasher that you buy at a part store is plug and play or do you have to do some rewiring? It does look nice installed and everything works but the turn signal as of right now.

Here are some of the pictures of the tail light. The blue and yellow wires are for the turn signals. The blue wire goes into the double port for the turn signal and yellow wire in one of the turn signals (left or right doesn't matter i think). Take out one of the OEM brake lights out and replace it with the fit in wiring piece from the new tail light. It should fit right into where the light goes. You may have to turn it one way or another if it doesn't work (now you know why I labeled mine with a black sharpie). The other wires that holds the other bulb I just took out the bulb and placed electrical tape around. I pretty sure the reason why the left didn't work is because I don't have a digital flasher yet. Hopefully I will get one soon. Anyone know if they are direct fit from a parts store?

Working or not has nothing to do with a "digital flasher"... All that does is get you the correct flashing rate...

Most likely you just need to reverse the wires... The signals as well as tail/brake light are LED's and as diodes the only work in one orientation, instead of a bulb that work both ways...

I watched the video geek. I haven't been able to get on here in about a week due to work but my plug was good and the wires did not need to be turned around like yours (thank goodness). Although turning the plastic wiring nut into the light harness 180 degrees did seem to make it brighter than it was previously. The weather up here in Ohio has been so crappy that this weekend I had some time to be able to diagnose the problem with the right turn signal not working. Everything was plugged in the right way except I had to complete the circut with another wire into the ground wire. As soon as I did this the left and right turn signal worked perfectly. Although Volar says these lights are direct fit it seems as though there are quite a few people who have different issues with them.

After much blood sweat and tears I got it all working.
My bike has been chewing through headlights and I am producing 16 volts at 6k RPM. It may have to do with how I connected these lights though I am not sure yet.
