tank protector
Hey Guys,
I'm looking for a carbon fiber or magnetic tank protector for my hawk, something that was specifically made for the superhawk. I really don't care for the thicker "padded" type protectors. Anybody have a links or know of some place or someone that produces them?

Magnet Tank Protector
Check out the Magknight tank protector for the superhawk. It comes with the "carbon look". I like it because it wraps the sides of the tank as well so everything is protected. There's a gap of about 1-1/2" maybe between the front of the seat and where the protector starts but I've never touched that part of the tank while riding. If you want a picture of it on my '05 let me know and I'll try to figure out how to upload it. Got mine on Ebay if I remember correctly.

Here's the pic. The gap at the seat is more like 3", but still doesn't have a scratch. I put mine on in the cold and it was a little stiff so I cut the notch you see at the top of the cover at the ridge in the tank hoping it would lay flat.....live and learn. I'm sure it would have laid flat once it warmed up and got a little softer.
