Removing Seat Lock
FIGURED IT OUT!!! Sorry for the premature postulation.
So Im going to be using the seat lock as a bolt for my tail hack a la 00Superhawk, but upon inspection I have realized that I have no idea how to get the lock out in the first place. I searched the forum with every combo of words I could think of and didnt get anything. Can anyone tell me how to get the seat lock out of the bike? Im going to be doing the operation as soon as I get home from work. Thanks a ton!

There is a clip on the inside that secures the lock - all you have to do is push that out of the way and the lock cylinder will be loose. Then you just have to disconnect the cable, and you can pull the cylinder out.
