Sorry I don't know the answer to that but I have a similar question. I bought the bike with aftermarket flush mount directionals up front with two wire leads. I took it apart to repair and paint plastics. The bike has a three wire lead. Are the stock directionals also marking lights when not blinking?

yup, you can run a 2 or 3 wire marker. 2 wire theyre just blinkers, 3 wire they stay lit and blink when activated

I jerry-rigged some flush mount CBR1k lights onto mine. They fit the hole perfectly, and looked sharp, but it was temporary at best. I took them off and went back to stock. Waiting on the stock blinkers from another member right now... Lesson learned about aftermarket lights though. I'll never do it again. Too many electrical gremlins surfaced after I started changing the blinkers and headlights around.

those are nice but my new undertail has intergrated leds in it so itll be weird if i have something that isnt flush in the front. thanks for the link.

dieschem, understandable, ive got a friend with an r6 whos entire brake light and blinker setup is plagued with issues. frankly i think its due to his own inabiliy to wire things. but who knows.
