Anyone here install Tapeworks wheel rim stripes?
Just got my Tapeworks wheel stripes UPS today. The instructions looked simple and straightforward, which was my first clue that I could really screw it up. So, anyone been down this path before? My only concern really is making sure the tape is a constant radius curve on the rim. I've seen photos of a few that weren't, and looked really cheddar. I figure the slightest imperfection while not spinning will be magnified that much more at speed.
BTW, after much debate and advice, I went with the stealth black reflective. I had wanted blue to match the body, but unless it was a perfect match, it would've looked crap. And on my black wheels, it should be good.
Thanks in advance...

I put some on I got off ebay. I used the "wet method". IOW, after peeling off the backing, I spray the strips with a slighty soapy water mixture. They will take a while to dry and thus stick so you can readjust till you get 'em the way you want.
You can do them on the bike but it's way easier off. Clean your wheels real good too beforehand.

I'm getting ready to do this, too. I ordered some Gold Reflective rim stripes from Tapeworks before I got rid of my SV. They came in the mail the same day I got the Super Hawk (yesterday). So it looks like gold strips, black wheels, on a blue bike. I'll post pics when I am done.

Haven't bothered putting them on yet, think I'll use the Tapeworks stuff for misc. striping and order another set of the pre-curved type wheel stripes. Seems to make sense that they'd be easier to install since I'm not going to take the wheels off to do it.
