Found the proton wiring and programming instructions. Pretty easy stuff:

Interesting... I could see using some of the other combos for things like connecting to brake lights for strobe or fade for alarm wires... could be interesting...

Just place my order in today. They looked good on that yellow bike. I'm sure they will look good on my black one.

Ok wait, I just asked (on a different thread) if you needed mods or sending units or any other electrical changes to install an integrated LED tail light and was told no. What is needed? Another question, are y'all using the protons advertised for the RC51? That's the closest Honda I saw them advertised for.

You need time and maybe a couple connectors depending on how neat you want the job to be. IIRC, brake, tail and ground are a plug that connects to either of your original bulb sockets and the two signals are single wires that go to the corresponding signal hots. Taillight ground also does the signals. Stock license light and one taillight socket are unused. Pretty neat units for low cost.

Doesn't answer the question about resistors and weather or not they are needed. I want to install some protons and maybe that integrated tail light. Resistors or no resistors?

I found them at www.hightechspeed.com $99 they said buy the CBR600RR 2007 for a 2002 SH. I haven't bought them yet. Watching and waiting. Think I agree that they are the way to go and buying them this weekend.

There is nothing at all there that mentions a superhawk of any year.

Nope. Gotta call or email or find one of the others... it may have been Watsens. That kind of indicate a cross index. Also a couple of people have said they used th RC1 and that is the same part number.

I just installed the rc 51 protons, they don't "need" (I have stock rear turn signals) resistors but blinked a little faster than I liked so I replaced my blinker module with an extra from my truck that is mechanical and will always keep the same blink rate. p.s. the protons are great! super bright

Anybody seen this model Watsen with color match and running light option on a Hawk? They look like they would be really clean and they actually have an option for a VTR 1000. I like the options with the protons and these watsens (with running light, extra $15.00) are like $140.00 but man I think I like the look better.

That's the lowest price I've seen for them! I found some on ebay for $85.00 and thought I'd never see them lower. Good deal.
