More fuel

Has any one out there modified a VFR 800 fuel tank to fit on their Superhawk? I was thinking about removing and fitting my fuel petcock section to the fuel pump opening. Yeah, some trimming and welding, but I need a new tank anyway, and I have nothing to lose cutting up my damaged one. Has anyone swapped out any other tank on their bike? Any ideas out there?

May I suggest "VFR tank" as the search term...

Good point... You are new... Generally when I get to a new place, before I start blurting out questions, I have a look around, introduce myself, get to know the locals and find out how the place works... You know, simple manners...

Since you decided to skip that, and go directly to the questions, I went directly to the answer...

BTW for your reference... Around here some questions come up about once a month or so by someone new, despite having been answered in detail a dozen or so times... People that ask them without checking the old answers usually gets reminded... Your question is on the short list...

welcome to the forum, where you get exactly what you asked for. haha Occasionally you may get a way with a dumb-*** question, but I wouldn't expect that result too often.

Oh... Before you call me rude... There is no point in me being rude unless I know anything about you... So now you get to do your part and introduce yourself... Then I can begin to either like or dislike you...

Tweety, you are a man after my own heart. Tell it like it is. Short, (not so) sweet, and to the point>>>
