LP mirrors

Hello,

Just wondering if anyone ahs installed these mirrors on their VTR? My main concern in buying them is that I currently use Genmar mirror extenders (fancy name for a hard plastic spacer that pushes the mirrors out about 1") and am concerned about being able to mount them (ie. only have one bolt to mount it seems, can I use the threaded bolt extenders provided in my Genmar kit?)

cheers

Yep!! Don't install them, they are PCS OF SHT. Trust me, and ask Bill, I was complaining about them all day. They are tiny, and they seemed to only bolt into one of the two holes. Plus, they cracked both of my front fairings right around the mirror holes because the P.O. put em on so tight. Does the phrase "Avoid at all costs" help?

Anyone know about these? Seem to be Superhawk specific.

I bought a pair in the fall from Speedzilla.com and have yet to install them. They look just as good in person as they show in the picture and are solid construction and quality finish. Some day I'll find the time and space to install all my pieces-parts. But for now living in NYC in a rental apt with 3 kids and a dog makes it impossible.

I missed out on that groupbuy on SZ. Any idea if they're gonna do another? I could use a pair.

DAY -UMM, that's a lot of money to look at your elbows. Unless they are longer but they sure don't look like it.

Do they make 'em for R1's? Or better yet, FZ1's?

Re: Speedzilla mirrors

While they are sharp looking (and can be used with GenMar extenders), unfortunately they only have the flashing feature and not the running lights (as per e-mail received directly from company)

cheers
