I purchased the carbon fiber tank protector for my 05 Superhawk from Geelong Carbon Craft but it was too large for the tank (I purchased the '02 and later tank protector).
This problem is because the "Firestorms" got a larger tank in '02 (18 liter) and the Superhawks did not.
If you plan on ordering one, get the pre-'02 protector no matter what year Superhawk you have (16 liter, 4.23 gallon tank).
I'm in the process of trying to get the smaller protector now. May have the '02 and after 'Firestorm' pad for sale here if I don't exchange directly with Geelong Carbon Craft due to shipping $ to the land down under ($40 Australian when I purchased).
Great people there by the way....very responsive to emails.
