fz1 mirrors

ok, so i had the fz1 mirrors on my bike, and i loved the legnth. When looking through them i could actaully see the tail section of the bike.

the only down side of them was the vibrated and made it pretty hard to see clearly, maybe due to the cheap bike bandit mirrors i bought, and due to a low side about a month ago i have been mirrorless.

i would like to get another set and just wanted to see if anyone had bought any fz1 mirrors that didnt vibrate like crazy and if so who makes them, where did you find them? Or is there another mirror that has that kinda view that doesnt vibrate?

I got these set of FZ1 mirrors off ebay, and they work pretty well. 01 05 Yamaha FZ1 Racing Style Mirrors Black | eBay I don't have any complaints about not being able to see due to vibration. It shakes the most at idle, though this may be bike specific. I did the mod to remove the ribs (with a dremel) which index the mirror stalk so I can rotate it freely. However, the pot metal the bolt screws into is very soft and easily stripped. I just used longer bolts with a nut on the other end to hold it together. BZ

I had done the same thing, but i had vibrations at a few different rpms, and also a folding issue, so i took some of your advice and added a longer bolt with a nut on the other side, then cut a peice of rubber and stuck it between the stem and the mount and reinstalled the one good mirror i have, vibration at all rpms is gone, and they no longer fold going 120 plus, and can still be folded in for that tight squeeze.
