FZ1 Mirrors

If someone is looking, this seems to be a pretty good deal on FZ1 mirrors: http://www.d2moto.com/p-4875-2001-20...g-mirrors.aspx Just received a set from those guys today.

Got a set of these couple of months ago form a member here, but broke one of the glasses.
After using those mirrors for a while, I could not go back to stock. With these, I can actually see behind me without moving my hands out of the way.

Danny, I see you are in Canada. How much did they charge you to ship?

i see the website lists them as glass mirrors. wondering are they the same shape as oem fz1 mirrors? i mean, physically the same dimensions? i bought a set of "racing" mirrors a few years back as a cheap way to get 2 mirrors back on my hawk after breaking one. they suck. big time . they are plastic though, which makes them absolutely worthless for seeing anything.

I also purchased some other (smaller) parts in the same order $15 worth, and total with shipping (priority USPS) was $52. So, yeah, shipping to Canada more than the mirrors. I still think this was a good deal.

good to hear, so you have ordered these from d2moto? damn should i get them? lol yeah i meant glass mirror, not housing...as you can tell from my previous experience with crappy mirrors, plastic "glass" sucks

i still have those crappy mirrors on and theyre absolutely horrendous. rode to work today, didnt even bother looking cuz i couldnt see anything, ended up turning around 180 degrees for EVERYTHING. wasnt able to take a quick glance to keep an eye on things...

Thanks for the post, just purchased a set thru Ebay, same price and shipping, same company. It'll be nice to be able to see behind me for a change.

Thumbs up pics

does anyone have pics with the fz1 mirrors installed, both cosmetically from front/side and the new bolt patterns required?
