Fender color question

Should the rear hugger color match the front fender? I have the "05 metalic color and I'm debating on whether to make them both black or both metalic or leave the rear hugger black and the front fender metalic.

On a different coloured bike I would agree with Hawkrider, but on your bike I reckon you could go either way.

Maybe buy both in carbon. That would look sweet!

My SH is a 98 silver and i had the hugger painted in silver first to match the front fender (pic 106).
Now i have a carbon hugger (pic 571) and of course i dont paint it

For my taste the dark color of the hugger look a lot better, making the rear looking more "light". But this is my individual taste, maybe you like matching colors more.
For me, nothing beats the look of Carbon Fiber.....

Personally, I think the front should match the rest of the bike, but the hugger should be black. However, Hawkrider is right (as usual), carbon fiber always looks good.

@ 5150
Thank you, my bike is a work in progress for 4 yrs now since i bought it second hand, completely stock.
I recently added a Motrax C/F tank shield, more C/F parts coming soon, maybe a front fender as well.

BTW i still have a brandnew set C/F covers for the oem rotor/clutchcovers sitting around here, maybe someone is interested...
